Sneak Peak at my Sweet Centers...

It's almost the end of August.. and like the weather outside... I am feeling a bit like fall... I'm really enjoying our cooler than normal summer.... Anyway, below is a card I made for Britta's swap on SCS where the challenge was to use the Sweet Centers stamp set (it's supposed to be used with the little plastic cups that go in the center punch out so you can fill them with fun stuff or treats!) without the plastic cups... It took me a while to play with it, but finally I came up with my soaring heart design... I hope you like it... I really wanted to use the new Bermuda Bay color, it's so rich and had to have the red heart, so here it is.... TFL.

Profile so you can see the embossed heart and layers.

Recipe: (all products Stampin'Up!)
Cardstock: Real Red, Bermuda Bay, whisper white
Stamps: Sweet Centers
Ink: Craft Real Red and classic Soft Suede
Other: Big shot machine and Texturz plate, square scallop punch, 1 3/4" and 1 3/8" round punches, clear embossing powder and heat gun, silver brad, dimensionals, organza white ribbon, paper piercing tool.

Her you have the cute little clear cups that will be available in the Stampin'Up! Holiday Mini Catalog. The catalog will be available to purchase from beginning September 1st!!! Only 7 more days folks!! The cups are pretty sturdy plastic and nice and flat on the bottom so you can add a circl punched image if you like or just fill with treats and stamp on the plastic directly with Stazon.
They come in a dozen per pack for $2.95 US dollars.
I'll post some more projects with these fun little cups.
Her you can see the blat bottom.... the white you see on the cup rim is a paper covering the adhesive. You fill the cup, peel the paper and stick to a background... it's that simple.
